This lightly fermented tea is made from tea leaves grown in the tea gardens of Shizuoka Honyama, the birthplace of Shizuoka tea. The Taiwanese tea leaves, which are difficult to cultivate in Japan, are subjected to a fermentation process called withering to bring out the aroma, and then finished in a Taiwanese-style pan roaster.
It has a soft, floral fragrance and a refreshing taste with a slight sweetness and almost no bitterness or astringency. It is a tea with a light fermentation, similar to green tea, like Taiwanese Baozhong tea. It can be enjoyed not only in a teapot, but also in a Gaiwan, like Taiwanese tea.

For 4g of tea leaves, steep in 150ml of hot water at 95℃ for about 60 seconds. For the second brew, steep for 30 seconds, and for the third brew and after, steep for an extended period.
