This is a set of nested yuzamashi (water coolers) made in collaboration with Shikou Touhou, a pottery studio based in Shigaraki, a historic pottery and tea town near Kyoto. Yuzamashi is a vessel with a spout used to cool hot water to the appropriate temperature when making sencha (Japanese green tea). It fits on top of a Shiboridashi Kyusu, making it compact and easy to store. Why not enjoy authentic Japanese tea using yuzamashi, which is always used in the Japanese tea ceremony?
